About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ATEX Zone Expert to work alongside our ATEX and Electrical Services Teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical installations and maintenance projects in hazardous areas, predominately within the water industry, but also in the Energy and Manufacturing industries.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of ATEX zones and hazardous areas, as well as a working knowledge of Ex protection concepts including Ex d - flameproof, Ex e - Increased Safety, and Ex i - Intrinsic Safety.

Key requirements include:

  • CompEx Ex01 – Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
  • NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation)
  • 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing
  • Industrial experience
  • Valid UK driving license
