About the Role

Howard Hindson & Son is a family-owned business specialising in high-quality reupholstery, restoration, and repair of domestic, contract, and antique furniture. We are seeking an Apprentice Upholsterer to join our team and learn all aspects of upholstery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stripping down furniture to prepare for reupholstery
  • Preparing tools and equipment for upholstery work
  • Leading and carrying out upholstery work in a busy workshop
  • Following instructions and workload issued by the Production Manager
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work environment

Education

Grades A*-C/9-4 in Maths and English
