We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Young Adults Team at Grafham Water Center.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will enable you to work closely with individuals aged 18-25 years who have a diagnosed learning disability, providing support and guidance to promote independence and choice.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing complex casework, safeguarding, and ensuring that our young adults receive high-quality care and support. You will also collaborate with other professionals to promote the principles of personalisation and advocate for the needs of our service users.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the lives of young people, has excellent communication skills, and can build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and community members.

The successful candidate will have:

  • a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration
  • the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently

Please note that occasional out-of-county travel may be required. We offer a competitive salary of £44,260 - £47,277 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), as well as a range of benefits, including a comprehensive wellbeing package, protected time for Continuous Professional Development, and access to development opportunities.
