We are representing a leading fire safety and facade risk consultancy based in the UK, seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
The company provides a comprehensive service for complete legislation compliance and works closely with clients to understand and manage cladding and internal combustibility risk, defects, and remedial issues.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting senior staff in the preparation of tender and contract documents.
- Negotiating with clients and contractors, and cost control and planning.
- Assisting with project completion reports and providing solutions to delays, deviations, and other problems that arise during construction.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential.
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under supervision while developing your surveying skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- A willingness to learn and progress, as well as to help develop your team and the business as a whole.
- Salary up to £25,000 per annum commensurate with experience.
