Responsibilities
- Support senior team members across different projects, following and understanding Sleek's internal processes.
- Complete project tasks on time, working to deadlines and internal critical paths, client deadlines, and supplier deadlines.
- Assist the Operations team with project planning, including sourcing and negotiating suppliers and venues, budget creation, management, and reconciliation.
- Attend venue site visits, create site visit reports, and assist with event setup and breakdown.
- Provide social media content and network with the industry by attending relevant events.
- Research and administer the preparation of RFPs, supporting the team in proposal preparation.
- Monitor suppliers and seek out new suppliers, providing office admin support, including booking team travel and accommodation.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar event agency client-facing role.
- Ability to manage clients and delegates pre-event, onsite, and post-event.
- Great communication skills, both on the phone and in person.
- Enthusiasm, prioritizing your own work effectively, and working in multi-functional teams.
- Represent Sleek Events, with good knowledge of the company, the events industry, and client industries.
- High attention to detail, able to travel when required, and flexible working attitude.
- IT literate, with desirable software knowledge of Procim/Google Docs.
- Being multilingual is beneficial, proactive, self-motivated, and focused.
- Strong desire to help others succeed, working collaboratively, and providing excellent support.
