Beauty Advisor - Manchester T1 - 18 Hours

Job Summary

The Beauty Advisor is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving sales targets within the Travel Retail locations. This role involves providing personalized service to customers, developing product knowledge, and maintaining high standards of sales and service across multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge across brands, including brand stories and hero products.
  • Provide best-in-class service and experience to customers, using exceptional people and conversational skills to engage and fulfill their shopping needs.
  • Achieve required retail sales targets, present oneself in line with personal grooming guidelines, and link sell across brands to grow sales.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and missed opportunities, and utilize the Education Team strategy to achieve goals.
  • Deliver excellence in execution of service, ensuring measures are in place to continually improve service levels and create a zero consumer complaints mindset.
  • Report daily and weekly sales to Team Leader/SEE as required.

Working Effectively as Part of a Team

  • Develop strong working relationships with the team, colleagues, managers, and retailers.
  • Help colleagues and team efficiency by being flexible and taking on tasks as required.
  • Communicate information to the Team Leader/SEE.
  • Attend and actively participate in training meetings, virtual or at-counter, as provided by Sales and Education teams.
  • Actively participate in and complete online learning modules.

Maintaining Housekeeping Standards

  • Clean counters, tester stands, and displays regularly to maintain hygiene guidelines.
  • Merchandise back fixtures and display counters as directed.

Completing Administration

  • Complete all administration accurately, legibly, and on time.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail industry/guest services experience is desirable (preferably within beauty or luxury goods).
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate excitement for and the ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
  • Sales and goal-oriented, with the ability to maintain level of sales performance as determined by Company goals.
  • Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a fast-paced work environment, while being flexible on shift patterns.
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software is desirable.
