Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing business in the UK. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing crucial engineering support to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to the production team to resolve mechanical issues and ensure minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and optimize production efficiency.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new processes and equipment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain engineering workshop procedures and equipment to the highest standards.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, including allowances, and benefits such as 33 days holiday per year, an excellent monthly performance bonus, Medical Healthcare Cash Plan, and a Cycle to Work Scheme.
