Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for data analysis? We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our UK Operations team at the Canopius Group. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficient workflow of underwriting, premium, and claims transactions under delegated authority agreements.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the resolution of data quality issues arising from the Bordereaux process – outsourced to external parties
  • Maintain ownership of the identification of data quality issues in line with Lloyd's standards
  • Liaise directly with underwriters, Brokers and coverholders / DCAs where necessary ensuring robust communication is maintained with all stakeholders
  • Ensure outsource provider maintains up-to-date and accurate process and training documentation to ensure data quality standards are maintained
  • Produce, monitor and complete the Bordereaux processing monitoring and oversight of MI reports
  • Analyse/interpret and challenge the weekly and monthly Bordereaux processing statistics provided by the outsource team
  • Challenge and develop existing MI and report to internal stakeholders, coverholders, Brokers and DCAs to promptly notify relevant parties of any perceived new data quality shortfalls or issues
  • Be responsible for maintaining new & existing Intrali Bordereaux validations and mapping processes
  • Assist the Head of Delegated Authority Management with delegated underwriting and claims data initiatives and with the enhancement/development of future reports and dashboards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Enhance our existing Bordereaux data quality procedures and processes and implement additional controls/exception reporting to ensure quality standards are maintained.
