Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Backline Logistics Support Services Ltd. as a Night Shift Driver.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for pallet collection and deliveries in the Dorset area.
  • Maintain excellent customer service with a positive attitude and provide a high level of professionalism.
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness and complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Possess good knowledge of the Dorset area and road networks to optimize delivery routes.
Requirements:
  • Valid Category CE / Class 1 Driving Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC.
  • Valid Driver Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Clean driving record (no more than 6 points, no DD/DR in the last 5 years).
  • Minimum 3 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
  • Authorised to work in the UK.
  • Flexible attitude and ability to work night shifts.
  • Own transportation (public transport may not be reliable).
