About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Evaluation Consultant to join our team at Ipsos. As a key member of our Policy and Evaluation Unit, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality evaluations and research projects that inform policy decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage evaluation projects through the full project cycle, from design to delivery, ensuring timely and budget-friendly results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with research teams and partners to execute evaluation studies and provide consultancy inputs, leveraging expertise in quantitative and qualitative approaches.
  • Develop accessible and concise reporting outputs of evaluation findings, presenting results to clients and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Contribute to evaluation proposals as part of a wider team, identifying market opportunities and supporting business development.
  • Develop specialist expertise in a policy or methodological area, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Line manage junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Participate in team-based and wider professional development, contributing to the growth and success of the Policy and Evaluation Unit.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in managing evaluation projects through the full project cycle, from design to delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in teams and manage projects to timescale and budgets with limited supervision.
  • Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative approaches for evaluation problems, with a strong understanding of policy in one or more areas.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving approaches to the design and delivery of complex evaluations.
  • Experience of establishing and managing strong client relationships, with a proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
  • Curiosity and drive to support business growth, with experience of contributing to winning evaluation proposals.
  • Time management skills and ability to work across multiple projects, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to non-technical audiences both in writing and verbally.
  • Interest in developing junior members of the team to fulfill their potential.
  • Highly desirable: Knowledge of statistical or econometric methods for conducting impact evaluations using quasi-experimental designs and/or randomised controlled trials.
