Job Title: Roadfreight Trainee

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our European Roadfreight team as a Roadfreight Trainee. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in logistics and freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take requests and queries from clients and resolve them efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate with overseas agents and clients clearly, precisely, and accurately.
  • Support our Senior Account Manager team with day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure that the departmental manager is aware of the status of all shipments.
  • Interact with customers, suppliers, and colleagues throughout the UK and Europe.
  • Enter shipments on our in-house system and generate orders and instructions for our suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Keen to learn and develop skills in logistics and freight forwarding.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to provide a professional image to customers and suppliers.
  • A positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.
