About the Role:
- This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a reliable, knowledgeable, and nurturing individual who can go the extra mile to ensure the child's progress and happiness in the school environment.
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children or individuals with additional needs and possess a care and social work background or personal experience working with children or adults with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a child at Key Stage 2 level, working in a full class capacity to ensure their focus and necessary support for progression.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to support the child's learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records of the child's progress and development.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils is a key commitment, with placements subject to Child Protection screening and checks with former employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
