About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counselling and Psychotherapy educator to join our team at the University of Leeds.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students undertaking the MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and will assist with the development and evaluation of course materials and modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach on the MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling programme
  • Develop and evaluate course materials and modules
  • Provide support and supervision to students
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve academic and professional goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy or a relevant subject
  • Current registration with an appropriate body, such as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
  • Recent experience as a psychological therapist
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Able to work flexibly as part of a wider team
