We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Children's Home Manager to lead our childcare services, ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and positive outcomes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation and making a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, including staffing, placement planning, safeguarding, quality monitoring, and compliance with statutory and organisational policies. They will also foster an inclusive and supportive environment where each child's individual needs are met through tailored care and placement planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the home's operations, ensuring high-quality care and compliance.
  • Implement statutory and organisational policies.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment where each child's individual needs are met.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders and the wider community.
  • Produce timely monitoring reports and statistical data, ensuring service delivery meets organisational standards.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least 3 years of experience working with children in the past 5 years, including 1 year in a senior role. They must also have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it).
