Job Title: Intervention TutorWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intervention Tutor to join our team of professionals. As an Intervention Tutor, you will work with young people with SEN and SEND, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
Your role will involve:
- Providing one-to-one tuition and support to young people with SEN and SEND
- Developing and implementing personalized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support workers to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress of each young person, and making adjustments to their learning plan as needed
- Plan and deliver high-quality, individualized learning sessions to young people with SEN and SEND
- Assess and evaluate the needs of each young person, and develop personalized learning plans to meet those needs
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of each young person, and make adjustments to their learning plan as needed
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEN and SEND
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK
