HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and report any defects or issues.
- Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner, using manual handling equipment as required.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time, ensuring all relevant signatures and paperwork are obtained.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- C+E driving licence and valid DigiTacho and CPC.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience and ability to lift up to 18kg.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
