The Non-Ferro Recovery Company (NRC) is a leading international family-owned business specializing in the recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from waste residues.

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter Engineer to join our team in Cowdenbeath, Scotland. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical status, maintenance, and repair of our UK site installation equipment, machinery, and mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and repair installation equipment, machinery, and mechanical components to optimize output.
  2. Collaborate with HQ Workshops, UK Project Managers, and Installation Team Leaders to ensure seamless operations.
  3. Regularly inspect installation machines and equipment to identify and repair faulty components.
  4. Implement and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly procedural installation status checklists.
  5. Communicate effectively with NRC Senior Management at Head Office.
  6. Ensure good team spirit and motivation, and set clear maintenance goals for the UK Site Installation team.
  7. Ensure UK compliance with daily/weekly/preventative maintenance requirements, maintaining mechanical systems, repairing, and maintaining operating machinery to enhance longevity and prevent accidents.
  8. Organize transportation and logistics of parts from Head Office Netherlands.
  9. Supply cover for Installation Site Managers as required.
  10. Ensure strict implementation and compliance with all EU/UK Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
