Job Summary:

Hatch is seeking a highly experienced Global Director to lead and drive Operational Readiness across its global regions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operational management, with a proven track record of delivering strategic initiatives and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Operational Readiness strategies across Hatch's global regions.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to deliver expert services to clients, including operational readiness, ramp-up, and operational improvement support.
  • Manage and execute tailor-made operational services and transition to operation programs for clients, using connected, high-performance tools and best practices.
  • Work closely with client operation teams on operational readiness, commissioning, and ramp-up projects, assisting with project risk evaluations and management processes.
  • Provide technologies and solutions in close collaboration with Hatch's Digital and Technical Group to improve clients' business and future needs.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in a heavy industry environment, such as mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Demonstrated operational experience in areas of Asset Management, Operations, or Maintenance.
  • A strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to roll-up your sleeves.
  • Highly collaborative, strong team orientation, and the ability to build consensus in a global concern.
  • Experience with project and team management, excellent analytical and summarization skills, and the ability to influence and negotiate with others.
