About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at Simmons Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and leading a high-performing team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Create a memorable experience for our guests, actively seeking their feedback to enhance their time in our venue.
  • Team Management: Collaborate with the Employee Experience manager to keep your team engaged and manage staff turnover below a quarterly target percentage.
  • Financial Management: Fully manage the P&L, create, and deliver 90-day business plans to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure your venue meets the required standards in accordance with company policy, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with the L&D team to deliver an upskilling training plan for your team, and support the People Team by training new management trainees in the business.
  • Stock Management: Operate the venue within its licensing limits, and collaborate with the Deputy to manage stock for achieving sales and GP targets.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile weekly sales reports for the Area Manager, and identify successes and challenges faced.
