Project Management Director

About the Role
Currie & Brown is a leading global consultancy that advises clients on the management and use of their physical assets. We're a collaborative and open-door business that values our people and their ideas.
As Associate Director/Director of Project Management, you'll lead the service provision from our Belfast office, directing financial, operational, client, and people-related objectives. You'll work closely with other directors to deliver the business plan, ensuring services are delivered on time, to budget, and with exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full P&L responsibility, monitoring and controlling financial performance
- Identify and deliver business expansion opportunities, ensuring they meet financial targets and returns
- Develop a marketing plan with other directors to maximize sector growth
- Bring new and repeat business to the company through client and business contacts
- Convert work-winning opportunities into successful and profitable contracts
- Create a bid strategy and work with key resources to identify, capture, and develop win themes
- Act as senior account director for key client accounts, contributing to the sharing of clients and ensuring service delivery
- Create a cross-selling culture, ensuring all staff understand the full portfolio of our business offering
- Initiate and implement corrective action where performance deviates from plan
- Direct staff on timely billings, cash collection, and long-term debt recovery
What We're Looking For
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Association of Project Managers, Chartered Institute of Building, or equivalent
- Proven leadership with people development qualities
- Ability to provide a clear vision and create a culture based on transparency, openness, and trust
- Demonstrable experience in business development in the Belfast local area, with experience in the private sector
- Good network of business and client contacts, with the ability to bring new and repeat business to the company
- Experienced in developing and implementing key account management plans
- Proven experience in discharging P/L accountabilities
