Job Description:

The Service Delivery Engineer will provide expert system/application knowledge to support NATS' IT services, ensuring resilience throughout the service lifecycle and driving continual improvement.

  1. Apply domain expertise to assigned/escalated incidents, prioritizing, diagnosing, and resolving them using agreed procedures to restore service resilience.
  2. Maintain competencies necessary to control and configure applications to enable technical services restoration.
  3. Analyze Service Events and Incidents to initiate Problem Management activities, continuously improving service provision.
  4. E nsure service configuration processes and tools are applied, keeping records accurate, complete, and current.
  5. Implement risk management processes to meet service levels.
  6. Manage service assets, e.g., software, to ensure they are in a known state and location.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful, you should have a minimum HNC (or equivalent qualification) in an Engineering or Information Technology discipline and relevant experience with demonstrated ability to perform engineering and managerial work at this level.

  1. P roven ability to analyze complex technical data in a complex operating environment to resolve major service incidents.
  2. P roven ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and vice versa.
  3. Experience in automated and virtualized environments with software-defined architecture.
  4. P roven history of applying continuous service improvement processes.
  5. Networking knowledge and Linux Operating System experience.
