Job Summary

The Royal Society of Medicine is a leading medical organization dedicated to the continuous professional development of doctors and healthcare professionals. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior AV Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality virtual events and webinars using Zoom Webinar and other video conferencing software.
  • Manage and maintain our small meeting rooms, ensuring they are equipped with the latest technology and are in good working order.
  • Conduct technical checks and maintenance on AV equipment to prevent technical issues and ensure seamless event execution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the Senior AV Technicians to support event production, setup, and rehearsals.
  • Update and maintain records and technical databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on video conferencing software and other AV-related tools.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of video conferencing software, including Zoom and MS Teams.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
