We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Cheshire West. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in child care, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and managing cases, developing individual care plans, and providing support to service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of social care needs and risks
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, promoting dignity and empowerment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including families, carers, and other agencies

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in child care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines, including Child Protection procedures
