Kitchen Assistant Job Description

At Holiday Inn Norwich North, we are seeking a highly motivated and efficient Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dishwashing: You will be responsible for washing all dishes, from pots and pans to cutlery, either by hand or loading them into the dishwasher.
  • Delivery Organisation: As a Kitchen Assistant, you will receive deliveries and ensure they are organised in the kitchen.
  • Storage Management: You will be responsible for maintaining organised storage to ensure all ingredients are easily accessible.
  • Waste Removal: You will empty all waste bins and ensure all waste is disposed of promptly.
  • Basic Food Preparation: In busy periods, you may be asked to support with basic food preparation.
  • Material Collection: You will collect materials and ingredients for our chefs as needed.
