Menzies Distribution is seeking a reliable Packer Driver to work on behalf of the company and its customers in York. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a first-class service, ensuring the security of vehicles and goods during transit, and adhering to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load vehicles safely and within legislation
  • Deliver parcels to customers safely, efficiently, and on time
  • Ensure the security of vehicles and goods during transit
  • Uplift previous day's orders
  • Complete documentation as per company procedure
  • Break down, allocate, and load inbound supplies
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy warehouse environment

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points)
  • At least 3 years' driving experience
  • No previous disqualifications (NI, DD, or DR)
  • Solid local geographical knowledge of commercial addresses and streets
  • Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving and warehouse role
  • Hardworking, positive, and flexible attitude to work
