Job Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Assistant at EngineeringUK, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain effective relationships with all supply chain stakeholders (customers, suppliers, buyers).
  2. Data Provision: Provide data, analysis and commentary for management reports.
  3. Improvement Initiatives: Propose and implement improvement activities and plans through the provision of data analysis and other subject matter expertise;
  4. Query Resolution: Action and fully resolve customer and supplier queries to agreed processes and within SLA, monitor trends and collate data to support and identify supply chain improvements.
  5. Process Development: Develop and maintain processes for areas of activity to improve team performance and maintain the ISO9001 accreditation.

Requirements and Qualifications: A degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience; excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; good commercial awareness; aware of supply chain processes; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Estimated Salary Range: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
