About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care to service users with complex clinical needs, including medication administration, personal care, and clinical interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as meal preparation, mobility, and transfers.
  • Monitor and report any changes in service user's condition to the care team.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and service user's progress.

Requirements

  • 3 months previous care experience.
  • Personal Care.
  • Moving and Handling.
  • Medication Administration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (required for day shifts).

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with spinal injury management.
  • Catheter Care.
  • Cough assist.
  • Awareness of Autonomic Dysreflexia.

Working Hours

  • Pop in visits paid at £15.00 per hour.
  • Morning - 9am to 11am.
  • Afternoon - 1pm to 2pm.
  • Evening - 9:30pm to 11pm.
  • Sleep in Nights.
  • 2 shifts per week.
  • 7pm - 7am (sleep in 11pm – 6am).
