We are seeking an experienced NDT Engineer to join our team in the Northwest region of the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a range of NDT inspections for various manufacturing and heavy industries, ensuring compliance with statutory and legislative requirements as well as client needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out NDT inspections for manufacturing and heavy industries, including food production, breweries, and engineering.
- Interpreting and evaluating test results to ensure compliance with client and statutory requirements.
- Conducting equipment inspections and calibrations to maintain high-quality standards.
- Collecting, collating, and reporting on examination results with detailed sketches.
- Working to international standards, ensuring they are continually met.
- Presenting reports with detailed information and maintaining all records.
- PCN Level 2 certification in UT, Dye Pen, and MPI.
- Advantageous to have Phased Array, Eddy Current, Forgings, 3.8, or 3.9 certifications.
- Experience with testing weld geometries is desirable.
- High level of Health and Safety awareness.
- Ability to think on your feet and hit the ground running.
- Strong communication skills for client-facing roles.
- Happy to work at heights and within confined spaces.
- Excellent IT skills.
