Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at G3 Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and products that meet our high standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and products using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure the integrity and performance of mechanical systems.
  • Produce and review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Develop bills of materials (BoMs) and manufacturing and integration packages.
  • Provide technical support during production and integration.
  • Write reports, including proposals, statements of work (SOW), and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical tenders and budgets.
  • Manage and liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Lead and participate in internal and external design review meetings.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a design environment.
  • Previous experience of integrating multiple services within containerized or modular builds is advantageous.
  • Proficient in the use of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Working knowledge of BS/ISO Standards and excellent technical understanding of engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to implementation.
