As an Intermediate Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the daily management of construction projects over $25 million, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution, coordinating with the project team and subcontractors.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, providing safety leadership and implementing the company's Safety Program.
- Manage project budgets and control costs, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
- Administer prime contracts and subcontracts, including negotiations, awarding contracts, and reviewing subcontractor performance.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project performance and financials.
- Proven experience managing commercial or institutional construction projects over $25 million.
- Completed education in a construction-related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on team development.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, schedules, and contracts.
- Competency in MS Office, including MS Project; experience with Viewpoint Project Management system is an asset.
