Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Cover Supervisor to join our team at St James' Catholic High School. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive learning environment, ensuring the smooth operation of classes, and providing support to students and teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of teachers, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Support students with their learning, providing guidance and encouragement as needed
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a smooth transition of classes
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and maintaining records

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of child development and learning principles
