Electrical Project Manager Job Description

Morgan King Construction is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and deliver large-scale electrical projects across commercial and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all aspects of electrical project planning, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline development.
  2. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and expectations.
  3. Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  4. Oversee the installation, wiring, and commissioning of electrical systems in line with safety regulations and industry standards.
  5. Prepare project reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
  6. Lead and motivate the project team, providing technical support and problem-solving assistance as required.
  7. Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction or electrical industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and relevant regulations.
  3. Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or project management.
  4. Valid JIB Gold Card and Asbestos Awareness certification.
  5. Familiarity with health and safety practices on commercial sites.
  6. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
