About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our Public Sector team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multiple audit engagements, overseeing and developing junior staff, and working closely with clients to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple audit engagements from planning through to completion.
  • Oversee and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored audit services.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships at audited entities, working with senior level staff to ensure seamless communication.
  • Collaborate with Senior leaders up to Partner level to drive business growth and development.

Requirements:

  • ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Relevant public services sector audit experience.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
  • Experience of managing, training, and coaching audit trainees.
