Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Tax Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing corporate tax compliance work for clients, providing expert advice on corporate tax matters, and working with a team to facilitate tax planning strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate tax compliance work for clients, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadline
  • Provide expert advice on corporate tax matters, including tax planning and compliance
  • Work with a team to develop and implement tax planning strategies that meet clients' needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are aware of any implications
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to grow the business

Requirements

  • A strong academic background, preferably in a finance-related field
  • Expert knowledge of corporate tax legislation and compliance
  • Experience in managing a team and overseeing projects
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of approximately £36,000 - £64,000 per annum
