Theatre Technician Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Technician to join our team at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists. As a Theatre Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for theatre, clipping and surgical prep, running the theatre, setting up, preparing equipment and instruments ready for surgery and procedures.

You will work closely with Registered Veterinary Nurses, Patient Care Assistants, and Specialist vets in anaesthesia, ECC, neurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue, internal medicine, cardiology and ophthalmology. Training is provided by a friendly and supportive team of nurses, patient care assistants and specialists.

The successful candidate will have a passion for providing a high standard of care and be keen to learn. Previous experience working in a busy theatre environment either in the human or veterinary medicine industry is ideal.
