About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Policy Officer to join our team at Membership Bespoke. As a Policy Officer, you will play a key role in monitoring, researching, and communicating on public policy, political, and other issues impacting the sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and research public policy, political, and other issues impacting the sector
  • Develop and deliver campaigns and strategic public affairs
  • Organize and represent at key events
  • Maintain critical information resources, such as databases, briefing libraries, and legislation trackers
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in public affairs and policy, having worked in Parliament, trade association, Government, campaign organization, PR/public affairs agency, or similar
  • Excellent team working, critical thinking ability, with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Professional, reliable, and accountable while being process-driven
  • Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills, with the ability to digest complex information into key salient points
  • Awareness of political issues and consequences
  • Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
  • An eye for detail with the ability to multi-task, work well to tight deadlines, and with competing priorities
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills
  • IT literate with demonstrable knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field
  • Prepared to travel as necessary
  • Full UK driving license and vehicle for regular travel
