About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Crime Operations Lead to join our team at Unity Trust Bank. As a key member of our Customer Fulfilment function, you will play a critical role in implementing and executing our Financial Crime framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Financial Crime Operations team, ensuring the effective management of day-to-day operations and the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate financial crime risks, and provide guidance on compliance matters.
  • Manage and maintain key risk indicators to support the bank's Financial Crime risk appetite, and report on compliance.
  • Support the Head of Financial Crime in creating and executing industry-standard quality assurance frameworks to assess the bank's position on Financial Crime.
  • Provide input and guidance to the 1st line business units for the Financial Crime Business Wide Risk Assessment.
  • Line manage the Financial Crime team, responsible for performance delivery and performance management, and provide coaching and continuous improvements.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Financial Crime Operations Lead with:

  • Operational knowledge of bank processes and key regulatory/legal issues.
  • Extensive experience leading and delivering SME Financial Crime teams and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and provide guidance on compliance matters.
