Job Title: Concept Design Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Concept Design Engineer to join our Andretti Cadillac Team at the Silverstone Facility. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing layouts and schemes to support the design of future cars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Concept Design in laying out the architecture of our future cars.
  • Assist in providing schemes of alternative potential structures for further analysis.
  • Investigate alternative solutions to current layouts of car systems.
  • Provide design support to other groups as required to meet the overall delivery targets for the current car.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or similar.
  • Experience in motorsport industries preferred.
  • Experience of leading design projects.
  • An understanding of all parameters that affect car performance.
  • Knowledge of racing car systems requirements.
  • Knowledge of composites design and manufacturing.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and comfortable working independently, while meeting challenging deadlines.
  • Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
  • Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
