As a Senior Support Worker with Voyage Care, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers in our residential service in Bridgwater, Somerset. Our service provides support for individuals with autism and learning disabilities in a homely and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of support workers to ensure the highest quality of care and support is provided to our service users.
  • Assist the manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service, including allocating shifts, booking training, and inducting new colleagues.
  • Support service users to gain independence in their daily lives, including managing their finances and ordering medication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that the needs and preferences of our service users are met.

  • Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour.
