Air Traffic Control Specialist

Copello Global is seeking a highly skilled Air Traffic Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our aviation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our airport's air traffic management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Tactical Management: Manage operational services at the airport, ensuring services are delivered to customers as directed by the GEM.
- Maintenance and Repair: Carry out planned and corrective maintenance, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion in compliance with maintenance schedules and local procedures.
- System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance to plan for maintenance and repair, ensuring optimal service to ATC and other customers.
- Engineering Tasks and Projects: Progress engineering tasks and projects as required, maintaining a broad knowledge of all technology and systems deployed at airports.
- Shift and On-Call System: Participate in a formal shift and on-call system, being willing to drive company vehicles on public roads and airfields.
- Engineering Qualification: Hold an engineering qualification to Higher National Certificate (NVQ Level 4) or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Structured Training: Have undertaken structured engineering training, such as a recognized apprenticeship.
- Technical Competence: Be technically competent to work on a wide range of equipment, with a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: Possess effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information accurately to customers and suppliers.
- Commercial Awareness: Demonstrate commercial awareness, understanding the impact of facility failure on customers and internal relationships.
- Full UK Driving Licence: Hold a full UK driving licence.
