We are looking for a skilled Water Sports Trainer to join our team at Aberdeenshire Council.

About the Job:

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will teach swimming to others and develop personal and professional skills through a bespoke training programme. Manual handling and quality service delivery are essential requirements for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement training programmes to enhance personal and professional skills
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for students and staff
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture

This is a regulated work post with children and protected adults. You must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required if you have spent time outside the UK.

A minimum of one reference from your current or most recent employer is required.

Requirements:

You will need to possess relevant qualifications and experience in teaching swimming and water sports.
