Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our clients' HQ in the Epsom area. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment, as well as reactive and emergency breakdown tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
  2. Carry out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocated
  3. Carry out inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis
  4. Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels
  5. Complete job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone
  6. Maintain site-based records and log books
  7. Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment
  8. Proactively work to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommend improvements
  9. Work to all health, safety, compliance, and local policies and procedures
  10. Maintain excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone, and email

Working Hours:

  1. Monday – Friday (7am-4pm/9am-6pm)
  2. There will be a 1 in 2 call out rota which will include an additional payment

From this role, you could progress into a Supervisor position if desired.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  1. City & Guilds Mechanical or equivalent
  2. Experience maintaining fan coil units and AHUs in a commercial environment
