About the Role:

As a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality residential care to young people in our crisis intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic care setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met">
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a nurturing and supportive environment">
  • Participate in educational and recreational activities, such as bowling, ice skating, and cinema trips">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A minimum 12 months experience in a children’s residential care home">
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare ">
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK">
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions">
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice ">
  • Values aligned with Esland’s, including a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare">
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above">

  • A competitive salary of £33,474 per annum, based on £13.35 per hour and £60 per sleep">

  • 2 days on, 4 days off shift pattern (with sleep nights) ">
