Workshop Technician

Gardline is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join our team. As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support for our in-field operations, as well as installation, maintenance, and repair services for our extensive range of survey equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare equipment for projects, ensuring timely mobilization and efficient operations.
- Compile and store maintenance documentation, including packing lists and job cards.
- Assist with diverse tasks in different bays or areas as instructed.
- Maintain sufficient stock of spare parts and test equipment for seamless operations.
- Report any issues related to missing or faulty equipment.
- Ensure assigned areas, including tools, spare parts, and test equipment, are organized and clutter-free.
- Prior experience working with offshore geophysical equipment or in a workshop environment performing engineering and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with Acoustics, Geophysical, or Geotechnical equipment and test equipment.
- A well-founded electronics background, ideally as a trained engineer.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Suites, and experience with purchasing systems and planned maintenance systems.
- Driving abilities for transportation of equipment to and from suppliers.
