Job Title: Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3

Job Description:

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join Rozey Days Montessori as a Level 3 Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the health and wellbeing of the children, promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Assist with personal care routines, encouraging independence and self-confidence.
  • Implement the Montessori ethos, planning engaging activities and tasks that stimulate learning and development.
  • Safeguarding is a top priority, ensuring the protection and safety of our children at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and well-being.
  • Utilize our online observation system to track and record child development.
  • Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their families.
  • Assist with lunch routines, promoting healthy eating habits and social skills.
  • Attend regular staff meetings, contributing to the development of our curriculum and policies.

Working Hours:

  • Rozey Days Montessori operates Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, all year round.
  • The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.

Requirements:

  • A full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Childcare or a high level of experience.
  • A clear DBS check is required.
  • An understanding of the Montessori approach and its unique benefits.
