Job Summary

Stagecoach Group is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Engineering Manager to join our team at Arbroath Depot. As a key member of our engineering operations team, you will be responsible for delivering effective engineering support, ensuring the safety, reliability, and presentation of our fleet, and driving forward excellent levels of maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to deliver a safe and cost-effective programme of preventative maintenance and repair.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for future improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop the business within budgetary guidelines.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including scheduling and reporting.

Requirements

  • Excellent track record of high-quality fleet maintenance.
  • Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety, environmental, and employment legislation.
  • Innovative, customer-focused, and commercially astute outlook.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
