Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills? We are seeking a highly professional Environmental Operations Specialist to join our team at TRADEBE.

Job Summary:

The primary function of this role is to manage the receipt, handling, sorting, preparation, and dispatch of non-hazardous waste materials at our Invergordon and Evanton sites. This includes daily checks on equipment, maintenance, and repairs, as well as segregating waste materials to add value to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process waste materials in accordance with site procedures
  • Operate and maintain all site equipment for material handling
  • Conduct daily inspections and report any issues or concerns to the Yard Supervisor
  • Segregate waste materials to maximize recovery and minimize waste
  • Follow and promote TRADEBE's SHEQ PROUD initiative at the site
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with suppliers and customers
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping at both sites
  • Work closely with the HWS Operations Team to optimize deliveries and collections
  • Ensure accurate completion of paperwork for materials leaving the site
  • Provide cover for either site as required

Requirements:

  • Highly professional and self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Proactive, organized, and methodical approach to work
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £25,500 - £26,500 per annum, depending on experience, and the opportunity to work for a leading environmental services company with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
