CAD Design and Engineering Opportunity

Job Summary:

Advanced Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled CAD/Design Engineer to join our client's team in Torbay. As a CAD/Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using SolidWorks software.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead engineering/design projects by preparing designs and documentation for new projects.
  2. Liaise with customers and maintain excellent communication between all members of the key departments.
  3. Ensure all necessary files and records are maintained accurately in a PDM system.
  4. Review and comment on process control documentation produced by other departments.
  5. Work closely with other team members to address developmental design issues and help to smoothly transfer projects in development into production.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and experience in using SolidWorks design software. Excellent communication skills are essential for reviewing client requirements and working with multiple departments within the business.
