Are you a skilled actuary looking to advance your career in pensions? The Emerald Group is seeking an experienced Pension Actuarial Consultant to join our team in London.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to work with our clients, providing expert advice on pensions-related matters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working closely with clients, managing small teams of actuarial staff, and leading core work on actuarial valuations and funding purposes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical expertise on UK pensions work to clients;
  • Managing client relationships and expectations;
  • Leading small teams of actuarial staff to deliver high-quality work products;
  • Drafting advice documents, trust deeds, and rules;
  • Reviewing member calculations and benefit augmentations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A strong understanding of UK pensions law and regulations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven experience as a qualified FIA/FFA or post-qualification experience;
  • Supervisory experience of junior actuarial staff;
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Benefits package includes competitive pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional development.
