Sowing Specialist

Ethero is seeking a highly skilled Sowing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful sowing process.

• Maintenance and Preparation: Prepare machines, equipment, materials, and supplies for planned jobs, adhering to strict quality control standards.
• Sowing Operations: Set up machines, prepare bags and labels, and monitor chemical coverage of seed, recording production and labelling bags accurately.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist in cleaning machines between varieties and seed lots, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
• Packing and Storage: Clean and pack away machines and all equipment, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to Ethero's health and safety policies, rules, and regulations, reporting any accidents or incidents following established procedures.

• Physical Fitness: Possess the physical ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Hard Work and Dedication: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dedication to delivering high-quality results.
• Adaptability: Show ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Transportation: Hold a full driving license (UK or EU accepted) and be willing to drive as required.
• Work Hours: Be available to work long hours, including overtime, up to and exceeding 60 hours per week.

• Hourly Rate: £12.63 per hour.
• Overtime Rate: £18.95 per hour after 40 hours.
• Standard Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-17:00, with flexibility to accommodate business needs.
